"VOSTIZZA" currants is the dried vine fruit product made from a special type of black grapes, which is cultivated exclusively in the hilly and mountainous regions of the ancient town of Aeghio from the 12th century. What differentiates "VOSTIZZA" currants among other varieties is the slope of the ground of the vineyards and the microclimate of this region. 

P.E.S. Union is the main exporter of Corinthian currants "VOSTIZZA", which are distinguished as the best quality of black Corinthian currants. "VOSTIZZA" currant is verified by European Union Certification of Protected Designation of Origin (P.D.O.) since 1993.
