CITRUS FRUITS VARIETIES

P.E.S. Union processes the next citrus fruits varieties:

Lemons

The main type of lemon cultivated is "Maglini", whose fruit is strongly aromatic with quite a sour juice. It has a thin, shiny peel and when fully ripe has a yellow colour. It is available to the market from December to May in its natural yellow colour and from September to November after artificial ripening.

Oranges

The main types of oranges cultivated are "Navel" and "Navellina", which are available to consumers from the end of November to the end of January, and "Valencia" which are offered from the end of March until June.

Additionally, P.E.S. Union packs and exports other citrus fruits, such as mandarins and grape fruits, which are produced within Aeghio prefecture. All these products pass the same production line and they are treated with the same manner and under the same concept.
