The Agricultural Cooperatives Union - Aeghion, Greece (P.E.S. Union) was established in 1935. The active members (growers) reach 6,000 persons. 

P.E.S. Union operates at its own new and modern complex of 100,000m2 in Aeghion that includes three factories for currants, olive oil and citrus fruits. Around 200 high-qualified people work daily in company's installations. 

The main industrial activities of P.E.S. Union are:

 
  • Process, pack and export of "VOSTIZZA" currants (P.D.O.)
  • Process, pack and export of "ELIKI" Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Pack and export of citrus fruits
  • Organic production of the above products.

The production processes are verified by ISO 9001:2000, ISO 22000 (HACCP) and BRC. Citrus fruits processes are certified by GLOBALGAP. The laboratory is certified by ELOT-EN-ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

All the organic products are certified by the authorised organization of organic farming DIO (ΔΗΩ).
